Greater Pacific Bancshares and Bank of Whittier, NA are saddened to report the passing of Dr. Yahia Abdul-Rahman. Due to this untimely passing, the annual meeting of shareholders of Greater Pacific Bancshares scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, has been postponed to a future date to be determined by the Board of Directors of Greater Pacific Bancshares. During the interim, the Board of Directors of Greater Pacific Bancshares has appointed Mike Abdelaaty as Interim President until a permanent President is appointed by the Board. Dr. Magda Abdul-Rahman continues in her capacity as Chairman of Greater Pacific Bancshares.
